Qq Buffet in Mattoon

My favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. A lil bit of all you want. Fresh and tasty.

I don't know why I keep eating here. I'm always disappointed.

Went last night paid 28 dollars for 2 decent price had the food of been good come on you guys know how to cook but will serve slop because you think people will keep coming that fried sushi ball with the orange sauce made me gag as soon as it hit my mouth please make better food

Pricey but food was really good

The buffet is plentiful and good. Many of the booths need work.

All the people here are so sweet! They have become family friends! They take the time to get to know their returning customers, and they take good care of everyone. The food is delicious and always hot!

Chicken didn't taste right. All thier chicken trays tasted like canned chicken.

They have everything you should expect a great American Chinese place to have. A hot buffet, cold sushi, and tiny ice cream cups. Great service, always checking on tables.

The female who sat us was very kind friendly and the food was cooked to perfection they had a great selection sushi, Mongolian grill, ice cream was priced perfectly as well

If I could give this place 0 stars I would!!! Worst customer service I’ve ever had in my life. The waitresses are very rude and nonchalant and made my experience very uncomfortable and BAD. The food is way to mediocre to give such horrible customer service. My boyfriend and I got up and left before we ordered because we felt THAT uncomfortable. I will not ever be returning to this hostile environment you call a restaurant. BEWARE before you eat here I advise you go somewhere else maybe china wok instead. -_-

My second time here service and food are great

Great hot, fresh, wonderful Chinese buffet! Celebrated son's birthday there & they were so accommodating! We had a large group, took his cake, & they even have little cups of ice cream in different flavors! The staff is SO friendly! We sang Happy Birthday & the waitress chimed in.. We had a ball. Much Thanks QQ for a great birthday dinner for my son... We will always return again!

Not very good service,seated quick but stacked 3mts before being removed. Never was asked if I would like a refill on my drink. Good was so-so

Absolutely trash food and service and a minor was running the register. I've gone here multiple times and have told myself I wouldn't come back but this time that's it. They had food out that had been sitting there for who knows how long and when I asked for fresh food they said no. They had one scoop of rice noodles and when I asked if they'd be bringing out more they said no.

I asked one of the owners what QQ stood for.She said Quantity and Quality.She's correct on both accounts.The food and the people here are great.I've come here off and on for over a decade.Love the sushi and wasabi.

Very fast friendly and efficient service. You really get a family feel in this place and the food is delicious depending on what you're looking for and what you're into. I highly recommend the vegetable chop suey if you really like a nice soothing soup🥣^_^

One of the best meals I've had for a long time the mussels were amazing and my wife tried and loved the sushi.. Good job

Went to have dinner with my dad little brother my fiance and my daughter. The food and service was phenomenal. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean and all the staff wore their masks

This was a decent asian buffet. The shrimp choices were particularly good. Staff were also very friendly. The sushi was okay, but not really fresh. I would visit again for the selections and price.

The food was the typical fare you'd expect from a buffet. There was barely anything prepared right. Alot of the dishes were overcooked or had been sitting there too long or both. Stay away from the soups if you dont want to cringe at the memory for the next day. The sushi rolls were decent with fresh ingredients. No real wasabi, yellow mustard with blue dye sitting out unrefridgerated was laughable while still being disgusting. The bill worked out to be 12.00 a plate. But there were 2 kids in our party of 6. I think it was pricey considering how much of the stuff was frozen stuff reheated. The best thing I can say about this place is nobody got ill.

Great selection of chicken. Love the seafood as well. The crab rangoon could have had more cream cheese & they were so dry I could barely eat them. Usually everything's perfect.

I come here often, mostly for the sushi. They have a huge buffet, salads, and dessert.

The Young man waiting on us was very rude. The rest of the staff amazing and kind. Good food. The building needs updating badly as a lot of the booths are damaged and worn

Back to business as usual with a bit of social distancing in seating. Still the same great food. Still the same great people.

This is probably, if not, my absolute favorite Chinese restaurant ! It is always so clean and tidy. The food is always stocked, hot, and delicious. The service is very friendly and caring. Very observant too ! I have only came in the a total of 4 times and they already know my face. I would recommend this buffet to everybody I know ! Absolutely delicious and a wonderful place.

Typical China Buffet with a great selection and good flavor! They keep the food fresh on the buffet and the restaurant clean! Makes for a great lunch or supper when you have a craving for Chinese food!

The food is ok the pepper steak was chewy and it took them 20 min to get my drink refilled when I was the only customer
